ibm thinkpad,no bluetooth after fresh install , drivers ???

go dammit just fitted more ram( well me bro did cheers st3v3_c ) and done a fresh install of xp but i now cant get me bluetooth working all the drivers dont seem to be for my model of laptop ( r51 type 2887) anyone have any ideas cheers

also

have you turned it on??

sounds a silly question, but tosh's you can have wifi, wifi and bluetooth or just blue tooth, oh and off,

check that

theres an application for thinkpads that downloads all necessary SW and drivers from the net for your partcular model. try installing it and give it a go, helped me many times on customers thinkpads

i cant get on lenovos support site, sorry no link

also, try windowsupdate.microsoft.com and see what drivers it suggests

It's the IBM connection manager I couldn't find - Fn + F5 gives you SW control of WiFi and BT...
