i had a late spec one up till recently as a daily driver. a lot of car for the money in my eyes. they'll never have that same buzz as climbing into an rs turbo but in standard form as mine was it was still a good country lane blaster and had plenty of grunt to over take

you thinking of buying one?

They deffo give you a buzz when driving. I've owned a fair few hot hatches in my life time, Punto GT, Corsa GSi, Nova GSi, Nova SR and driven a lot of the others i.e 106 GTi, Saxo VTS and I can say that as standard its a better car than that lot.

Off the mark it will give all of them a run for their money as well.

Great car. Never make the claimed 130PS though typically nearer 120-125.

ah i think i know the one, someone had it on fiestaturbo for a while. looked a good one
as for living with one i can honestly say they are very reliable. i had mine for 8 months and it never let me down once. very revy and i used to drive it hard through the country lanes to work everyday
more than i can say for my rst lol

I have an Ash Black RS1800 in excellent condition running 135bhp, For the money i paid it's an absolutely cracking car and hard to beat on value for money, no one suspects it around these parts either

An easy car to get more bhp out of if you do it properly. Just add a set of motorbike TBs for 160ish bhp and lots of fun.

Hi mate well mine recently made 130 on the rollers at Nobles in Chesterfield and its not chipped only a 421 Stainless manifold and k.n induction filter. Overall its a quick little car with superb handling in my opinion.

My girlfriends recently made 129bhp on a power run, and it is totally standard - it still has the original exhuast too.

Who's rollers were they?

Mark a 421 manifold and K&N isn't a standard car is it?

I stand by my statement having seen many of them run up. 120 - 125bhp is what they make regular as clockwork
