Default Fuel tank

Hey peeps im needin some advise just changed my fuel tank yeh, the side that has the tank strap has a captive nut insdie the chassi leg which yes has broken away! Grim i had to cut the strap so im now left with half a strap i cant see the nut or get to it i cant find any access holes in the boot or under the seat,It in the chassi leg in a u channel!!!!!!!!!! any advise CheeRS .

A rivet nut is probably the solution to the captive nut..........

As for the strap obvio you need a new one
