hi all been reading your projects etc on here for a while now so thought i would post the start of mine.

i bought the escort combi off ebay i dont have it here yet should be next week some time so il post the pics off ebay of it









well thats the only pics i have so far will post more up when i get it home it does not have an engine or gearbox fitted so i thought i would sort that out in the form of a zetec engine so i bought this on saturday







its the 130 bhp orion si i have started to strip the engine and loom out once thats done its off to the scrapy with the rest of the orion

i dont have any set plans but its gonna end up on throttle bodies or bike carbs but for the time being im gonna run it with the zetecs efi to get the combi on the road

just a little update really van is home has been for a while now i have bought a few parts ie a s1 rs turbo kit, new exhaust manifold some other stuff i cant remember

i fitted the wheels off the orion as there were only 3 turbo wheels and they were flat those have now been swaped for mk5 rs 2000 wheels


this is how it looked under the bonnet when i got it i have stripped the loom out and power washed the bay im gonna have this colour coded before the engine is fitted


i had a nice surprise when i looked over it i found its fitted with rs turbo brakes front and rear also has konis all round and lowering springs and was fitted with full rs turbo trim


the s1 kit i bought i know some of you dont like them on the mk4 escort but i do so sorry


my exhaust manifold im waiting for this to turn up still but im not in much of a rush


and my last pic is my dials i bought the stainless steel ones and reckon they look

i had those on my old orion. you can also get the heater dials to match i love them

 

How much are these and where from??? Combi looks sweet nice colour

oh no!! my old one could be dead!!

you can get the heater surrounds from banshee motorsport . about a tenner iirc
