hi what is the best way of taking the old hand brake cable off as it looks like i will have to take exhaust and heat sheild of please can you give me some pointers cheers

if its got the heat shield then you have to remove it, you may be able to move it able a little but it aint worth it, drop the lot to savge hassle and dont fit it back untill it is tried and adjusted or it will be comign off again.

what kit you gone for out of interest?
also what model is the car? 1.1 etc, its got to be late 93 on to have the heat shield
