My standard size front discs are getting pretty worn, so due for a replacement soon. I've been very happy with the standard disc and ferodo pad combination, no complaints, but there maybe better out there.

Can anyone point me in the direction of a modestly priced yet effective brake setup or even your thoughts on different manufacturers pads. I've heard good things about EBC greenstuff. I intend to keep to original size so just a disc and pad change - unless someone can point me to cheap st170 hub carriers etc.

Any info would be great.
