SORRY ! : yea its a 1990 in mercury grey genuine 49 k with every mot from new full service hitory... blah blah blah...anyways the best bit is its never been welded and by the looks of it dosnt need any... ...not sure whether to go the sleeper route or a rs rep? ...engine wise i will be fitting a 1800 zetec 130 with a rs turbo stainless exhaust and a induction kit..lowered to the deck,full 90 spec interior,kenwood ice install not sure about what body mods if any or wheels ...so any suggestions you have post em up..

ive found from all the mk4s ive had g plate ones seem to be the ones that dont rot
dont know what they did different

 

whats gonna be the easiest way of removing the stripes and decals without touching the paint so to speak..... heat them up with a hairdryer then remove them, then hot soapy water or is there a better way of doing it with no damage to paintwork ? cheers again,

the stickers are easy to get off, when we did my mates we just peeled them off then t-cutted the area that they were stuck on

not much involed in droppin a zetec in a mk4 just cut the and weld the a rst one easy really ur see what needs cuttin and weldin when u put it on heres one im buildin atm for a mate of mine
