hi im using a sandwich plate to get a oil temp and pressure reading on myzetec engine in my ka, i got it from burton power, problem is it wont seal and keeps leaking oil, ive tightend it up and put a smear of oil around both seals the plate to block and then filter to plate but still drips, anyone had this problem or know how to sort it, thanks al

 

on my one i have the adaptor that holds the plate on isnt deep enough for the original threads

i had to chop some of my existing threads away for it to be a tight seal and would tighten up

but i could take my bit off being a cossie lol and was easy to clean out

 

i see, i will have a look, it seems to fit tight and seal though, thanks anyway
