has anyone have any dealings with Racetek they regularly advertise in the ford monthlys tried their website to no avail jut rang their landline to be asked to ring back in an hour

do think this is a way to do business surely they should deal with calls as they arrise


what do you all think

 

Racetek is a second business, Ian has a normal job during the day, so i guess he is busy at this time

ive spoken to ian from racetek & he was very helpfull to me, but ive only baught small things from him never an engine or anything like that

I think slagging off genuine Ford enthusiasts and trustworthy, helpful and well established but small business people for no good reason on a website is cuntish behaviour.

well thats the difference between you and ian then, as ians answered the phone to me when he has been on the shitter oads of times im not messing either

Ian at racetek is a top fella who always offers advice over the phone when he can, if he said call back in an hour then do just that

Unlike some companies I can mention, at least I actually answer my phone!! Also you rang from a witheld number so I am always weary of people trying to sell me something!

I also divert my phone to my mobile when I am out and when you rang I was actually in a petrol station!

Alternatively, text me your number to my mobile and I will call you? Regarding the website issue, my latest advert in Performance Ford does not list a website so you may be looking at old magazines.

I wasnt aware the my number is registering as a withheld no this has now been altered

I rang you on a business no not a mobile i am not a mind reader how was i to know that one you had your phone on dirvert and two that you were away from your landline (all you had to do was explain this)

In addition i used the forum as a feeler gauge on ractek in general something i make no appoligise for .This has revealed that you are a highly recommended firm and that will do me fine.

I meant no offence and now know that you too are a member of the site but sometime it helps to explain things

brought my stage 3 stuff from him a few years back very helpful but have to say chip that was supplied was total poo in my engine,but can not fault the customer service

Ok no problem. As a rule its always easier to get hold of my at lunchtimes and after 4pm and Im happy to take calls up to 10pm at night and at weekends. If I'd seen your number I would have either rang it back or sent you a text if it was a mobile. Sorry for the inconvenience.

always helpfull and will always get back to you if you carnt get through

top service and gives good advice aswell
