Some little aluminium ones would do the trick, I rekon there is a good market for someone to make a batch.

Yep dont waste your money on new ones, they are shite!

I left the broken ones on and put a bit of Tigerseal on each clip, wedged a bit of wood under the skirt to hold it up when it was drying, next day jobs done.

I would not reccomend buying the ones from ebay as i recently tried fitting some and half broke while doing it I believe that the plastic on these so called new ones has gone brittle over time and i tried heating them up,but to no avail,as i regularly find bits of them under my car in the garage
I am going to make some stainless ones soon as i reckon that they will be better than alloy, with a stainless screw to fix to body and a pop rivet to the plastic.

Why do you need to make them out of stainless hardly any weight on them.

Thin alloy was easy, can bend/adjuds them when your under car to get perfect

They will be better made out of 1.2mm stainless strip for a few reasons...stronger,will never rust or deteriate and will not react like alloy does with steel and water. But that is just my opinion and how i want to do it
