Default what are the diffences between a normal and cosworth saph

Shell?

im going to look at a cat c write off cossie later but it was written off in 1992. i want to see if the shell is still genuine. is there anyway of telling the 2 shells apart.

where there any diffrences between the 2 shells

not 100% sure but I thought the gearbox bracket holes were different (this may be for a 3dr shell only though)

someone will be able to confirm.

3 door only, and they are only different upto B reg, after that the tunnels are the same.

The shell for the Saph Cossie is the same as all Saph shells IIRC. Think they have a load of holes for brackets etc on the inner wings because of that above reason.

Cossie shells also had reinforced A frame pillars. Lesser models didnt.

Is that just the saphs?

As my 500 and 1.6 shells appeared the same in this area.

I wonder why they particuarly choose there to re-enforce though, doesnt seem an area that needs attention to me!

I am sure the cosworth Chassis numbers started differently to the normal sierra, WFO is it as the cossies ere all german made???
