Here are my photos from Rallyday

This mark 2 was drifting nicely

as was this cossie.

This evo didn't though
That was the furthest I could zoom out

A sad sight but they straightened it back out and they were out again in the afternoon

They did a 2 lap parade for Colin McRae in his old Legacy and Impreza.

This cossie always has a play

This rallycross scoob is awesome

I went out in this, it's got sti 3 running gear

Very nice pictures,
I was there also with my LHD silver sapphire cosworth (and french registered plate also). Would you have , by chance, any track pictures of my car (I did two sessions in the afternoon)? To be honest I was not an "interesting subject" as I ran quite slow cos' I needed the car to go back to France the following morning. Thanks
PS: very sorry for my bad english but you probably guessed I'm french..sorry for that too

Great day!!!
The Q8 3-door and red Mk2 were brilliant (Sideways all day)
Thats the sort of track action that sets Rallyday apart
Some legendary rally cars there too, as is the norm.
This has been the show of the year for the last three years for me

Fair play

Fair play

Nervertheless everything went right and we get back home on sunday evening. Not so bad for a 183 000km nearly full stock sapphire (with it's original engine and turbo)
Who said cosworth wasn't reliable ? And the last point: the cos' is my daily driver

Liking this piccy of me Paul
:

Can you email me the high res version? Sib666@hotmail.com
What camera were you using? Seems to have caught the action very well - love the way the cars fill the pics, joys of decent zoom I guess?

Si,
I recognised your car on track so I thought I'd best take a photo
I'm annoyed that I panned it wrong and I zoomed too close with that one and didn't get you in the centre of the frame. I'll check tomorrow morning to see if I have any more and I'll email what I have
I did see your car in the pits and I loved how your camera was mounted but I didn't know what you looked like
I only know Martin and Lee (Porkie) and Lee was running around looking for fuel
I was using a Canon 400d but I've only had it 6 weeks and this was only my 3rd motorsport outing with it
I was also using a Sigma 70-300mm APO lense which helps alot

did anyone see the red mk2 with its HUGE tank slapper?
It swayed about 8 times full lock to lock up the track. Looked like he was trying so set it up for a drift!
Then that white subaru nearly hit it trying to get past.
