you need a controller for them radders as they all electric guages as opposed to analogue.

best and by far the cheapest place to order them from is from a japanese whole salers called Nengun Performane, www.nengun.com

you'll have to register to get full shipping costs but the savings to be made are well worth the sometimes long delivery times (4 to 6 weeks sometimes) A fair few users on the SXOC have bought parts from them and have always recieved their goods etc. Good site

If I had an engine worth keeping an eye on I'd be getting some Defi's. Awesome!

Yes, you need a Control Unit, it is this which gives the ability to daisy chain the gauges together, do peak recall and the 3 mins of data-logging.

The system is VERY user-friendly too, you run a wiring loom (Live/Earth/Ignition/Illumination) to the Control Unit and plug each sensor into the Control Unit too, then there is a single wire which goes to the first gauge and then they daisy chain together. If you add additional gauges, you simply tag the gauge onto the end of the line and plug the sensor into the Control Unit, no further wiring connections.

You can also add the VSD (head-up display) or Defi Link Display too aswell as warning lights etc.

You know where I am if you want more info.

Only thing with defi boost gauges is they only go to 2 bar and in my car it annoys me a bit as when mine hits peak boost at 2.1 bar the warning beeper goes off in every gear

Apexi gauges go to 2.5 bar though

You saw my Defi's at ND, Rad
Have been dead useful in mine

Have used the record function to see what my fuel pressure was doing at certain points - couldn't watch 3 gauges at once and drive!

and the peak recall let the cat out of the bag that the cars was mapped at 2 bar he he

Right.

In that case...

Defi Boost Gauge & Aquamist Control Gauge in the A Pillar:

Defi Tacho & Defi Link to go in the clocks, Defi Oil Pressure, Fuel Pressure and Exhaust Gas Temperature to go in the DIN panel.

Happy now?
