No sound after downloading music

No sound after downloading music

downloaded a few new tracks recently on kazaa but when i try to play them i dont get any sound, are record companys putting some sort of encryption on new CD's to stop them being shared? or is it summat else?

If u get a tune thats been fucked about by the RIAA u usually hear just a load of random noise rather than silence.
If u play it in winamp are the VU meters jumping about?
Do other tunes play ok still? If so, then it must be the new ones, if not, then its the setup

not tried playing it through owt else apart from kazaas own player, all the other tracks play fine through this. I'll d/l them again and try playing them through summat else see if they work then. I have had a few that sounds like random noise though so they could of been messed with
