Default 1996 mk1 mondeo!!

hi peeps just got a 1996 mk1 mondeo 2.0ltr ghia x...am loving it as it has leather interior, cruise control ect but feel the need for an induction kit!!!any sugestions!!the mondeo aint to slow as its the silvertop engine (136bhp i think) but had a modified saab 9000 turbo b4 this so im graving abit more power thanx for ya help peeps

I had a silver top 2.0 ghia auto, a while back and put a K&N panel filter in it, and drilled the airbox, very nice noise, gave a bit more mid range too.
I also removed the resonance pipe in the inlet, that makes it a lot louder.

induction kit works well on them but they can get a bit of heatsoak around town. the Bomz kits off ebay are well cheap.

decats work very well on the 2.0 silvertop. and the standard exhaust system is fairly restrictive.

beyond that your talking chip, cams, headers, bigger throttle body, underdrive pulley (cheap easy-ish way of releasing some horses), lightened fly, bigger injectors (the standard ones max out at 155bhp), and beyond that your talking headwork, forced induction or carbs/TB's
