Ł270 ish for the handset, minimum contract 18months at Ł35 per month or you could just buy the phone out right at Ł800 and something

read a bit about it and people are saying they are going to wait to see if the price comes down a bit as its too expensive at present.

 

Approprite if you dont need opposable thumbs at it seems to be marketted at chimps in the first place

 

Its not a 3G phone either IMO its over priced. I wont be getting one unless its sensible priced, and Nokia doesnt bring out a Apple beater by Xmas.

windows mobiles can do all that and more, the 8gb micro SDs on its way too!

 

I had that Prada touch screen and you could hardly use it as it would always select the wrong letters when texting, gave it to the missus in the end, still get texts off her that make no sense !!!, i'd assue that Iphone isn't much different.

tbh just because its not 3G i wouldnt have it I know in the USA they have a crap phone network so doesnt matter over there. But will stop you transfering data, vid calling etc unless in wifi area. Sucks!

Think i will be staying with Nokia.... Well a phone company got until end of December to sway me as thats when i can get a new phone

 

I've used an Iphone over here - and its fucking smart

It can do just about anything you might need it to do

Seems pricey, but like i say, its cool as fook - if i could afford one, i'd be buying one

I've not used one, but I have to say, even tho it's got a tiny HDD (16bg For the "best iPod we have ever made" - yeah, one of the smallest capacities too ) it DOES look fucking smart, and the features it has are superb (even with lack of 3G ) The capabilities of this type of phone is superb, as is the technology and operation... I haven't actually used one, so I can only go by the video tutorials and user vids I have seen.... But I would love one - as a toy.... Tho I won't pay what they are asking for one tho!!!!

Well first up you'll be paying Ł279 regardless of tariff Its only on O2, happy days we don't deal with them anymore. Its at carphone warehouse!

So after you've been stupid enough to hand over your Ł279 what tariff can you have.

Well tariffs start at Ł35 per month but hold on there is a Ł10 surcharge per month on each tariff. so for Ł35 your getting the same mins and texts as a normal Ł25 tariff on o2 - Bargain!

Already we have the idiots coming through the door asking for it, they don't have a clue what it does or why they need it but they've been told thats the one to get so their waiting, price not an issue until launch day and they take a reality check....complete time wasters!

But roll on carphone warehouse and O squared cause while your dealing with all the idiots with no intention to buy and just want to see the iphone we'll be mobbed with all the customers realy wanting to buy phones

Sure, this phone might not have everything needed for the UK market, such as 3G connectivity, but c'mon! It's Apple's first phone, and the technology and capabilities of this phone are insane!

I honestly do not know of another phone that can do everything you will see in the above video! So go whatch that and then tell me the iPhone can do "fuck all"

 

My orange spv e650 with an 8gb card does all that and more.

And has sat nav

And runs MS office

And syncs with my pc

and has a FULL QWERTY keyboard

And has 3g

And Wifi

etc etc etc etc

 

Was supposed to get mine lunchtime yesterday. Unlocked and ready for use on any UK network. When I found out its only got 8gig of un-expandable memory, shit voice quaity and the browser 'safari' doesnt support flash or java + it's not 3g I told the bloke I changed my mind + you cant sync it with PC outlook etc......does everything my arse!
