i might be going magnesium back end on the cos with rear hubs aswell proper back end

so me grp a clubsman's traling arms might be up for sale all rose jointed and strentend can only be used on coilover suspension only because where the springs sit that has all been welded up for extra strenth

i have to sort out a deal with the grp a mag back end first as soon as the guy say yes they are mine then i'l go from there

Marco , Before you even think about Mag arms , let me know what colour , age , condition and track you are considering ! These are a Minefield , believe me , nothing is easy , everyone has a different set of problems , bearing carriers are different , the bearings are un obtainable and the arms are all now so old they have Magnesium cancer. Im not trying to put you off , believe me , i looked into this before i put steel arms on mine ( why i want my old ones back as spares ) . I know TAL are your mates , but even they cant give you new ones , the only way to be sure ! Cheers mate

Thanks for the info ,i will bear that in mind and i know you are not putting me off, i have heard something like this before , i haven't done the deal yet i will ask mike/dave for a honest opinion

the colour of the arms are blue they are of a grp a escort ,5/6yrs old and most defo not new , i was just going to use them on any track , i am very happy with what i have got now tobe honest , but i thought i might be better of having the mag stuff because the offer is there thats all really and i know i would have the same set up and would be a bit lighter take about 20kg of the car my car is putting on a lot of weight

the car weighs 1250 kg now it's putting on the pounds in it's old age
