Has anybody used these, or know someone who has? Just done a search and they are well cool, put battery conditioners on your car, start it once a month, cover them in dust sheets and put them in humidified garages, that sort of thing

Just my mum is giving me grief about it being in her garage

 

bet they charge tho mate

my old man stored cars for people but do dont get that sort of service

just some space and supply ur own sheet

(de-humidified would be better too )

it's about Ł16 a week i think!

 

i gonna ask my mate as he is gonna start work for a storage place on monday

hopefully he can sort me out and its not too far from me

 

his warehouse in in lowestoft mate
he charges Ł10 a week i think, u can get car any workin hours and its 100% safe
bit of a trek for u tho
no workin on the cars in there but its the serurity ppl like (alarms cctv and connection to oldbill shop)
he stores ferraris, rollers, harrierjumpjets (no really) etc etc

 

where are you R4N? would be good to know what it's like not affraid of travelling if they are good!

yeah abit, but if they are good it may be worth a look, it'll be there till after christmas and i have relations near twickenham (spelt wrong)

 

Pete - well its not too far from Twickenham and at least if both our cars are there I can pop down regularly to check as its about 15-20 mins from my house and also my mate can keep an eye on em

He is starting tomorrow, but I think it is best to let him settle in first but I have asked him already.

 

Good thinking at least if he doesn't mention to collegues he has people interested then they may slip up and tell him all the bad things, like they go cruising every weekend and dis-connect the speedos!!

my mate knows if he touches my car i will literally kill him. He aint like that anyway. Will find out how much he can get it for.

Prob best to stick the car on axle stands anyway and take the wheels off, disconnect the battery and take the coil lead off.
