i gave the car a clean today and went and took some new pics as i dont have any decent recent ones of it.

































As a project its nearly finished. i want to get a 3" full exhaust system, few gauges and change the interior but not shor to what yet, probably full cloth cossworth interior. Hope you like

 

nice car, though just one thing...the first time i seen the first pic,i though,wow thats a big numberplate.

it just stood out.

You bought this engine of my mate Jason didn't you? I heard you melted it not long ago!?

How come and is this the same engine? Was a proper quick car in Jason's hands, ran 10.8:1 Comp and a bar of boost! IIRC

 

no i didnt melt it. its exactly how i bought it from jason. it was just leaking oil from the cam cower onto the exhaust. it needs fine tuning as it has a flat spot but it pulls to the revlimit in all gears.

Ahh wicked news, swear Jason said it was fucked!

The legend lives on, enjoy it, we had some good times out with that engine!

 

when it was leaking it was smoking alot and i just thought the worst but its all good now. the only additions ive made is an aqyamist fith injector driver and a larger fith injector. needs a bit of fine tuning as it has a little flat spot were it over fuels slightly at about 3000rpm but other than that its great.
