Well, after a couple of days without an internet connection I have finally managed to get on line and post my pictures of last weekend.
First of all I would like to say thanks to Matt (Matt Lewis Motorsport) for arranging top weekend
. Plans are already being made for next year
It was good to see a few guys from Passionford and a hello goes out to Twins and the lads. It was nice seeing you all again.
The pictures are posted in time order and the first one was taken at approximately 4.30am on Saturday morning just as we were leaving. We caught the 10.00am ferry across to Belgium and we arrived at our hotel in Aarchen, Germany at 4.30 pm. The journey on Sunday morning for the show took just 15 mins. The event had a very nice atmosphere and everyone was really friendly. Some of the cars were typically European although I must say some could be mistaken for UK cars.
It was my first time around the Nurburgring so I was takeing it rather gently. We only managed to get in just 2 laps before the track was closed (biker accident- fortunately just a broken leg) and by the time it had re-opened it had started raining heavily. We loaded the Fiesta onto the trailer and we set out for home at about 4.30pm Monday afternoon. I got home at 5.10am Tuesday morning.
Hope you like the pictures.
