Here's my new escort which i purchased 3 weeks ago, i have been extermely busy to get all of the niggly bits done before it goes away for the winter.
The car:
















Some of the restoration pics




Engine bay pics - i have been extremely lucky to souce a brand new header tank which topped the engine bay off nicely

Interior - the bottom drivers seat bolster foams have been replaced with new items from CAPITAL SEATING
New foams:

Old foams:


Finished:





Stonechip repairs and a small scab on the rear seem the size of a pin head, repaired before it progressed.

It's out of the garage for once
runs quite well with 17spi, still need to get this setup more professionally but for the small distance it will go until april it'll be rete, pulls throught the first 3 gears very well but the ACT's are going through the roof, time for a front mount which will be replaced some time in december with an airtec item as i think i may be able to get away without cutting at all due to their super slim new fans.

that is REALLY nice chap and u should be proud of it. the only thing that stands out to me is the miss shapped chassis rails, they just need pulling out and a good waxoyl and u will be sorted
