split rims
Can anybody advise on this :
Have a set of 17" comp split rims, and was told a set of 330 AP`s would fit behind. Now Woodford garage say that the 330`s will only fit behind 18`s.
If this is the case, what are the best brakes to get behind these wheels??
cheers

what car?
for a sierra for example, AP sells complete plug and play 330mm 4pot kits. They usually go on 17" rims with ease. But it depends ofcourse on the offset rim, thickness of the spokes, offset brakebell, and type of caliper. If you're serious in buying, ask them if they could 'dry fit' a caliper too see if it realy fits or not..

I know what your saying, but the kit will have to be paid for and delivered before I get to see if they fit.
Car is an Escort Cosworth, although the rims were on a 3 door previously which did have a set of bigger (but not massive) brakes.
Am already thinking 18`s
