Not very fair to compare to mine, but I get 200-220 miles to a tankful. Mixed driving, but with 30psi available, GT30 and 350bhp.

I regularly get around 340 miles to a tank in urban driving running ~22psi and around 250hp of power in a standardish 1.6cvh.

spark map is very aggressive off boost and target boost is mapped to follow the accelerator pedal to save fuel. Fuel mixture is controlled 100% closed loop all the time.

With 160 something is definately wrong. Have you checked your fuelling, cam and ignition?
