Default Help!! Fitting a scorpion exhaust on fiesta turbo

I've just got my new scorpion exhaust today, and when i came to fit it i noticed the scorpion system doesnt come with a downpipe and the magnex system on my car is a different fitting where the downpipe meets the next bit of pipe.

Are you supposed to use a standard downpipe with the scorpion system??

ive never had a fiesta turbo before now and only got mine last week, so unsure what a standard downpipe looks like etc

Any help would be good

Yes you are meant to use a standard downpipe.
Is the Magnex still fitted ??

Could you do me a favour & take a photo of the magnex mounting arrangment under the middle of the car-there is a hanger bolted next to the Gear selector, I've never been happy with mine, & I just wanted to see how other exhausts have been mounted & which exhaust hanger to use.

Thanks in anticipation

can you not fit the scorpion to the magnex downpipe, thats what my last fiesta came with and i changed to a scorpion but then used a T3 so had a different downpipe butremeber thinking i would have used the magnex one if i were keeping T2.

The magnex hangs from the handbrake bolt in the middle

if you wanted more noise from the Magnex, you should have simply removed the over axle silencer..........

Kev . do you have a Magnex on yours ?

I know where it hangs from the problems I've had since day 1 is which exhaust hanger should you use as a mate fitted mine and he used an oval mount but it vibreates up through the gearstick - all I wanted was to see how others have this mounted.

Yes Jasper, Ive a magnex on mine. I use a standard oval mount, it used to vibrate through the handbrake when it was down but a litle bit of adjustment and its fine now.
