Default Ford Escort 1993 Questions

I have a Ford Escort 1993 year..
The engine is 1.100cc and it have 4 speed manual it don't have rpm meter end the speed meter shows 220..
What kind of engine can i put on?mabe a 2L?is it possible?
(sorry for my poor english...I am from greece)

Any thing is possible , but is it worth it would be far cheaper to buy a escort with a bigger engine, dident no they made a 1100 escort on that year,

I am From greece..The papers or the car shows that the first paper is on 1993.the all thing is confiuzing..The paper shows year 1993 end engine 1.100 and the man told me that the car's year is 1989

If the year is 1989 then it could be 1100cc, post a pic up so we can see if its a MK4 or MK5

As said most things are possible but, cheaper to just get larger engine one, with 5 speed gearbox as well.

not sure on the ford situation out there mate but you can put a 2 litle zetec in them easily
