Default power steering conversion for fiesta turbo.

hello there guys has anyone ever heard of a power steering conversion for a fiesta??? if so do you know where i can get one? also does anyone know where i can get my hands on a quick shift box for fiesta turbo too?

power steering on a frst has been done, if your still running the T2 turbo you have no chance, by using the T3 you allow more room for the pump etc, there ios more to it but its do-able.
failing that a electric pump can be used, but why would you want power steering, i dont like the feel through power steering and the little fez hardly needs it.

yeah

i did think about it once for my rs, not beause it needs it, because i wanted to do it to prove it can be done, but then on a hot day when i was sat in my rs thinking about it i thought, hmm i could do with air con here cos im roasting.............. ive have been lookingto fitting air con to my rs

I just go out in my other car that has aircon

I dunno to me the fact the cars lack this equipment is part of their appeal. BUt then it's probably why neither of my RS's are daily runners either

, i love my rs mate, i couldnt not have it as a driver, although i am now thinking of using it only summer time and the xr2 im getting later this month as the winter car, but im bunging a 2 litre mondeo lump in the xr2 and it does need sorting meaning i have to driver the rs in the winter, well when i finish it

i got power steering on my fiesta si with frst engine.handles like on rails!!! its abit of a pian to fit the pipework for power steering but its justdifferent wen u lift the bonnet and people c the power steering

ok thanks lads thanks.But i think i might get it done though it would make life a lot easyer wen you are trying to turn the car in a tight spot. do yas know roughly how much it would cost to get it done????

tops Ł100 if you get it all from scrappy, but thats give or take, different scrappies charge different price

interesting seems like a lot of grief just to park easier lol, out of which model wud u get the power steering stuff from and exactly wat bits wud u need, am i thinkng mk4 parts?

Some of the later Mk3.5's had PAS. Also be aware that the pump will sap some of the power your car makes.
