Default co2 on cossie

what should the co2 be on idle on a cossie running greens etc

and fuel pressure

i dont know what the co is until tomorrow when it goes for mot but the ecu hasnt been touched from std

and the fuel pressure is reading 40psi

also on fuel preesure i think its 3.5 bar it should be so i would need to raise it to around 45psi?

do i do this with vac pipe on or off as when i disconnect the pipe the pressure rises to 50 psi

when they stick the meter on it, just turn the FPR till it passes, and remember how far you turned it, then turn it back again

my mot man is quite good on emissions

but i want it to be correct

the ecu and fpr have never been touched since it left the factory

well until i got hold of it and put a stage 3 chip in to run greens

i know the fpr is low and should be increase but need to know if its vac on or off

and shouldnt the co b around the 2.5-3.5 mark? as last time i took a cossie to the mot station it was running 1.2

think the pass rate is actually 0.3% and not 0.2%(0.2% for cars after 2002)

The fuel pressure needs to be the setting that the chip was written in mind with, most(not all) use std pressure, which is 2.7-3.3(vac ON) bar and it will rise to around 3.2/.8 with vac off and plugged.
You need to know from the chip supplier what rail pressure to use in case they use a different one, unlikley as std is way more than enough for stage 3 power.
The above is of no use unless you have a cat/lamda, in which case it is ecu controlled anyway.
Those idle emissions would not do a non cat model any good or go very well at all.
The fuel pressure needs to be set with the vac ON to then just checked with vac off.
You must NOT alter CO @idle by adjusting FP.
CO@ idle wants to be 2.5%CO

surely altering the co with fuel pressure isnt rite

as why would they put a co screw on teh ecu

so fp with vac on then, which is below std anyhow so will need to increase it

as for co as i said imot going to know what it is until its at the garage but then he knows what my cars are like anyhow

If you want it right, get it checked through the whole rev range with a wideband (ie on a set of rollers) and adjust the FPR and ECU enrichment screw accordingly.
