in december 2005 i was convinced that building a track escort cosworth would be the way forward.
after looking around quite a bit on the net i found passionford and came across mike who then i bothered by phone on daily basis
As nice of a bloke as he is, he then guided me through the whole build process with valuable advice and connected me to the right people at the right time as well as making sure my engine was built to top spec by harvey gibbs
the result, as it was seen on the fastford stand yesterday at ford fair, would never have been possible without him.
i was almost in tears to see how much attention it got and i have to say that credit should go to mike more than to me. im a bitch to deal with at times and he put up with me all the time through the build and still does
mr rainbird, i owe you bigtime for making this happen and the friendship we were able to create means a lot to me
THANKS A LOT MIKE
oh...and sorry for the sticker, im daft at times

Mike, that is some very kind words, and I really appreciate what you have said and the trust and faith you have put in the advice I have given
. Obviously it has helped, because you're a "no-bullshit" kind of guy, and so when I tell you the "score" over (some
) of your madcap ideas, you listen and then decide to ignore me or not
.
The car is almost going to get to the stage where it will be too good to race
.
Dave,
You're not wrong - my prediction is that the gearbox will be the first thing to exit stage left when it has 600bhp shoved up it :cry.
Paul,
AND the Hayward & Scott ones

Great looking car
I wasn't sure about the stripes but they work really well in the metal!
