i have this forge strut brace for my 4x4

now i really like the fact its chunky as fook and i like the design near the ends but will it actually work properly?or am i better off buying a different one that will work properly?and ebaying mine
reason i ask is i looked at a few at ford fair and obviously mikes one and see alot of these ones.

and i know mike knows his shit so thats why he has one.

Ideally it would be braced against the inner part of the turret, with the other side of the turret welded as in the pic to the inner wing.
But as it is a road car it will be more than enough.

I don't think on a road car you will notice a significant difference between the two designs - PROVIDING you used bolts like you suggested
.
Obviously the braced method is better, as it is not just relying on the rigidity of a few bolts
