Default help!!! rs turbo vrs rs 2000

hello ppl long time no see since i lost my username and cant find it
ive got a choice to make i have at the moment an mk6 1.8 si with 70k on it i was thinking eaither an rs turbo series 2 or a rs 2000 mk5 pos mk6 or i could mod the engine on mine what do you all think would be the best choice i was more on the rs 2000 side now because of reliability i cant afford for my car to let me down to much any of them i get will have the useual mod filter zorst and the like what are your verdicts

get the rs2000 if you plan to use it everyday s2 are always breaking just look at the posts in the escort rs turbo room car wont start blah blah blah but s2s are fucking great cars the enjoyment i get out of mine is amasing

If you need it to start every day get the RS2000.

bout the same as i thought really would like the turbo but id also like a cosworth and a tvr...etc jus leeds to my next question any common probs with them recomend the mk5 or mk6 and is it the 2 or 4 wheel drive one decisions decisions

4wd are very limited and the 2wd ar faster im lead to believe and check for rust in the usuall places mate

nah bother mate personally id get an s2 there addictive but for everday get th rs200o and the mk6 only went up to a p i think

same as above mate i would go for a mk5 bonnet bulge model but good luck finding one that has not fallen to pieces with rot

i had a S2 and it put a huge grin on my face everytime i drove it

but it was soon gone when the bastard broke down!

now got an RS2K (mk5) and its just as good as the S2 plus in the 18 months ive had it its only broke down once due to some cowboy wiring up the alarm and immobiliser wrong

it may end up in the cars for sale section in the next few weeks so keep your eyes open!
