capri info needed
okay, i have a new ford capri (well not new, but new to me)
and was thinking about learning a bit about engine tuning, what does what etc, by actually doing it first hand.
anyway, i was wondering would

this fit onto a capri's engine and mate with the exhaust going under the car, or would i have to have one made.
probably need someone with good knowledge of the capri's engine bay (mk3 btw) its for the right engine (pinto)

all pinto cylinder heads are exactly the same dimension wise, the only difference being the diameter of the inlet valves, the 4-branch will fit for sure f it is in fact capri item,
if you're running a 1600 pinto then to be honest i'd ditch it and get a 2.0 for the money you won't get a better power gain
if you're running a 2.0, use 2.8i v6 pistons and a 2.0efi sierra head with a well set up 38DGAS carb from a 3.0 then you should have plenty fun

It will as said fit ok.
I too agree go for 2.0 to start with, I had a few 2.1(v6 pistons) in sierra's all auto's, the last with a 32/26 got around 135 bhp out of it.
You will NOT get anything approaching 15/20bhp gain from this manifold, expect around 5/8 if your lucky, but it will alow it to rev a lot better.
I had a HT head(injection) on mine was way better for it, used to get 38/42 mpg as well.
Don't bother with a 2.8 transplant as they are not particularly good, a tuned pinto will be way better/faster/easier to tune.
