Why are you bothering with a zvh?? You are buying a zetec lump and then replacing the best bit???

minimum hands on experience???

If the lads not up to converting it a full zetec then surely he shouldnt be making an engine out of the two i.e the zvh

The only real advantage of the zvh years ago was you could keep all the hoses, exhaust manifold etc... so worked out cheaper to do...

Whats your total budget Billy?

Cheers
Dan

NMS do a very good head gasket for this conversion

you can get great torque from the 8v heads, look at Stu H's car, 276BHP and 325lb/ft...great results

nobody says that mate I wasnt saying you can't....I was just saying that because the bits are easily available to do the zetec turbo now (they werent really cheap and easy when zvh's were in fasion) it's actually easier to do a full zetec transplant than to mess about building an engine from 2 engines....your going to have to buy a zetec engine anyhow so probably end up with a spare head LOL

If you have a decent cvh turbo engine then you can make a fair bit of money for the zetec by selling the bits you already have.

But all depends on how much you wanna spend (BUDGET ) and what power you want.

If your after the 2 lite capacity but a tall block cvh it'll go in no fucking about....easier than building a zvh..just my opinion though.
