Golf TDi Chipping
My brothers got a MK5 VW Golf 1.9 TDi.
I've heard you can up the power a fair bit with a simple chip.
Can anyone shed any light and where would you get it done?
(I'm in the South West)
And are there any draw backs etc?
Thanks

you can get about 30bhp extra from them.
its very easy to chip them - a new map is uploaded to the flash ecu.
unsure who can do it in your area.
Drawbacks? none unless you see having more power n torque a draw back LOL

Not sure if they do it for that exact model but Revo have places all over and do most VAG cars. Can locate a nearby place on their site.

I think his might be a 105bhp 1.9 as on the revo site thats the only one that comes up for a 1.9 TDi MK5.
They claim an extra 30bhp.
Does anyone know if the turbo can be changed for a 150bhp or 130bhp TDi without major work?
Can anyone tell me the location of some of these places? I've tried looking them up but haven't had much luck.
Thanks Again
