does anybody have the uk number that I can phone to report the 3 red rings of death. have e mailed microsoft, but they have sent me an american number to ring. Is this right??

The dreaded 3 rings of death is usually the end of the console mate, i was told when i called to report mine that they would repair it no problem but ended up getting a completely new console!! Was really lucky with mine as bought it off Ebay and had no receipt or guarantee and the console was well over 12 months old and still managed to blag another one out of them !!!

i know mate, mines away as we speak, been away about 3 weeks now, just bought forza motorsport then the Xbox decides to fuck up!! dying to play on it

8 months and no probs with mine so far... (touch wood)

 

You can send it back to microsoft as said or many shops such as PC World, Game etc.. swap them over the counter if under 1 year old.

 

never thought id say this but i agree

360's are just a disaster waiting to happen and trust me getting your old one replaced with a new one doesnt solve the problem

 

i've never heard of that before, mine came from 'currys' the end of last year, that has started messing about, i might take it back.

 

I had one swapped in PC World a while back and I asked in Game what there exchange policy was and they confirmed swap over the counter.
