refitting a dump valve, how? :cry:
need to refit my dump valve on my saff (as advised my NMS)
but cant remember how to plum it in
where does the little pipe from the top of the DV go?
PS can you use a pic to show me, cos even if you explain it i still wont understand

it just needs to be engine side of throttle plate so that it sees vacuum on closed throttle to give a big enough pressure difference across the valve to overcome the spring and open the valve
if you have the original pipe, just route it properly and it should be obvious. presumably you have something fitted where it came from to blank it off, so that should give you your answer

i've noticed there is a small hose on the right side of the engine, think its that i need to plum it into
just need a T-peice now

Rab's Dump valve fitting guide
1. Thouroughly clean all areas of the dump valve with Carb cleaner.
2. Check, and ensure there is the correct amount of space in your household bin.
3. Open lid of said bin.
4. Deposit dump valve into bin, using a suitable degree of force.
5. Close bin lid.
6. Now is a good time to decide whether or not to remove bag and take outside for collection.
Congratulaions, your car no longer sounds like a bus....
