chip and ecu question

Default chip and ecu question

first off how can i tell if my ecu is a l8 and if it has a pectel baby board fitted and secondly on the sticker on the chip says L8 2400std t35 does this mean anything to anyone

Take the lid off, if it's an L8 it should look like this:

if your ecu is a level 8 it will have a babyboard. its the only one that does i think.

you need to post a pic of the babyboard so someone can identify as the whether its pectel or ford.

the sticker on the chip indicates it may be a level 8 (pretty definately) but dont know what the rest means

yes except were your chip is there is a gap next to it then what looks like a smaller chip but mine has the gap at end if that makes sence

chip sounds like it could be for a 2.4 stroker conversion - best avoided if you don't have such a thing

btw, it's pectel, not pectal
