does anybody else get steering wheel wobble, don't get me wrong its not shaking my watch off or anything but at certain speeds its noticeable. I have had the wheels lazer aligned and balanced but its still there.

Has anybody got an Escos with a rock steady wheel, am I expecting too much from my 10 years old ford??

 

I notice you have Rondells like I have and like you I've never been able to get my steering as stable as my other Fords.

When I had mine refurbed last, we tried all 5 wheels on the balancer without tyres and chose the best 4 to fit to the car with the worst as the spare. It did make a difference but it's never been as good as my 120k mile Mondeo is today let alone when it was new.

 

had the same problem with mine between 50 to 65 mph so i had the wheels balanced and it made no difference, turned out the one front shocker was stuffed, you could push it down and it wouldn,t come back up so i put on a new set of koni,s and its perfect now

 

Could be the discs that need to be balanced. A 5 gram wheel weight could be felt at 60, so a disc may be the same. Get them off and checked too.
