Default Best polybush manufacturer/brand - ie NOT deflex!

Hi,

What are the best brands of polybush to use for an FRST, and do you know of anywhere that does them cheap?

Can any traders on here do me a good deal on a full set?

Cheers

Don't know what you have against Deflex, but if you insist on spending more then powerflex are the best you can get

Same old shit, POWERFLEX are dearer NOT better.
POLY is POLY is POLY.
It is a liquid that arrives in 105 gallon drums(or smaller) that you mix with dyes, elasticisers etc, then pour into a mould, let set sell bush.
POLY can be bought in many grades, ie SHORE which is the hardness scale, the higher the number the harder.
Having used DEFLEX for years, and after I had used powerflex, I find NO DIFFERENCE IN QUALITY only PRICE.
DEFLEX make bushes for desert racers, which do not fail so if they don't they are even less likely to on a road car.
IMO powerflex are a rip off, the stuff is easy to use, you could buy it and DIY if you wanted as the moulds can be made from pretty much anything, ie MDF, wood, plastic, resin.

Cheers guys.

Being honest ive heard of alot of horror stories regarding deflex bushes perishing very quickly, and their lack of decent customer service leaves little to be desired.

Thanks for everyones comments anyway

What you are saying is true to a degree, but also a bit blinkered lol

I have no problem with deflex either, but to say all polybushes are the same is stupid, one of the main complaints with deflex is bushes not fitting, so the fact 'poly is poly is poly' isnt really relevant.

but as i say, Deflex have always been great for me

plus the different additives that are added mean that different poly manufacturers can have diferent wear rates... i know that we had a different batch made up of poly and they had to be replaced in our machines, normally they would last the life of the machine in a high wear environment!...

Ive used Deflex in a couple cars now inc my cossie....found them to be well up to the job personaly. I bought the front set a few years ago and then replaced the rears last winter. When comparing the two different sets it shows that Deflex have made efforts to improve overall finish quality. On the customer aftersales front, ive found them to great, especialy when I damaged a bush and they sent me out a replacement for free

Are Deflex still going now then?

Never had any problems with their bushes... fitted to several cars we've had now.
