Default Anyone running a GT35R turbo on a Cossie 4x4

I am looking for a stronger turbo than my T3 on my Cossie 4x4 stage 3 and got lots of questions like

What boost can it run at. Does it reduce lag.Are there any fitting problems. Seems to be a flat 4 bolt flange where the exhaust downpipe fits instead of 3 studs and cone fitting, is there an adaptor. What do you think of it generally, any down side to it all.

They sell here brand new at $1330 about GBP700

Thanks

Sorry mate i don't know all the in and outs of turbo's but the bit of knowledge i do have tends to make me think that going for the gt35r seems to be a bit of a big jump to me
you would be better with a t34/35 at stage three and if you want to go fancy and the low lag option try the roller bearing version not sure on prices though.

As above really, if it's no lag you're i'd go T34.48 housing, had this on my 3dr it was great spool up. GT35 totally ott for your needs, plus you'll need a gearbox aswell if you're looking @ big power..

Perhaps I did not explain myself very well. I am not so much wanting loads of power, though it would be a bonus, I have destroyed 2 turbos (T3) and wanted a turbo that would last thats why I was looking at the GT series which has ball race bearings. Assuming there was less drag on the bearings I thought there would be less lag. I was not choosing the GT35R in particular a smaller one would do it was the longevity I was after.

About a year ago Performance ford tested a roller-bearing T34 which will be just right for your application mate.
