I'm looking for a deal on a wii and was wondering, do all wii's come with wii sports as standard?
As the deal i'm looking at just says "Nintendo Wii + Wii Play with remote "
So what the hell does that come with as there is no other info

wii play seems to be a bundled title that can be bought seperately (£34.99 @ Game) but wii sports wasn't.... hopefully it also comes with wii sports as it looks a right laugh
It looks like it also comes with the nunchuck controller as well according to the picture.
Do they all still come with wii sports then, or have they changed the basic package? what should it come with??
nothing is simple nowadays

All Wiis should come with Wii Sports as standard. It should also include a Wii remote, a Nunchuck and a SCART connecting cable.
Wii play is worth buying as it has Wii remote with it.

I've phoned littlewoods and they are none the wiser either
So you're pretty sure they all come with wii sports then? I'll just have to order it and find out when it comes i think.
I'll go for the deal with wii play and extra wiimote

Mine came from GAME shop, and mine was the Wii sports package. came with one controller, one Nunchuck , and all cables etc.
that Wii play is a bit pants really, just helps you get used to using the controllers, but worth buying as said to gain an extra controller.

I would recommend Game Station if you have one near you.
Some shops give you the standard wii (sports, nunchuck, remote) then you can select a couple of extra games from a selection, but gamestation allow you to choose ANY game(s)
They will also let you replace the game within 7 days if you dont like it.
Also, if you open a store card at the same time, you get 200 points for opening it, then added points for buying the Wii, which in turn you can use for money off a second nunchuck/remote if you wanted.
We spent £260 ish and got the wii, 2 games, second remote and second nunchuck

i've paid £240 ish thanks to some shonky litttlewoods vouchers i found online for wii package (wii, cables, nunchuck and wiimote and hopefully wii sports) + wii play with extra wiimote, and sonic ring something. if the sonic game is gash i'll trade it in against something else, but hopefully it should be a good laugh
The Nunchuck is needed for certain games, especially shoot em ups etc. With Wii Sports and Play you can play all the games bar boxing 2 player with what you have got.
Do not buy Call of duty 3 or Far Cry as they are both full of bugs!! I should have Mario Strikers Charged by the end of the week, it takes ages to get posted from the UK to Portugal!!

Wii Play comes with ONLY the main part of the remote. The main part of the wiimote costs £30, for an extra 5er you get a game which is supposedly pretty good (wii.ign.com). You can then buy the nunchuck next week when you have some spare cash.
JAmes.

yep i figured that it only comes with the wiimote bit so have ordered an additional nunchuck as well.
the wiiplay games look like a good laugh, especially the shooting game, reminds me of my wasted youth playing point blank on arcade/PS1
Anyone got the mario/wario footy game and is it any good? i don't trust ian wright as far as i can throw him, what does he know about computer games

I got Mario Strikers Charged a few days ago and it is top bannana
. The graphics are superb and it is a lot of fun. You can also play on line which works surprisingly well. Go on, go on, go on.
