25K Escort Cosworth on Piston heads....
Looks like the big spec Escos are holding there money...... is that a RS500 engine??? (looks it from the boost hoses)

It hasn't sold at that price yet!
That Escos is a one-off with that spec, so you can't possibly compare it to your average Escos' which are now selling at anything from £9.5k. The higher priced ones aren't selling, just look how long they have been on PH.

i spoke to the bloke about a month ago, and he said he had 2-3 proper buyer, as i was seriously interested in it. (but not at 25k), but it does have quite a bit more spec wise than advertised in the advert, bloke was really nice to chat too.

like said cars are worth what folk are willing to pay, mine is on there at the moment ( http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/191775.htm ) and i priced it to what i think it would cost to replace it(if possible) every one thinks there car is mint and only the honest straight examples are worth good money. the way i look at it is:
IF THE GUY SELLING THIS CAR GETS £25k FOR IT, TURN ROUND TO HIM AND SAY GO AND BUY ANOTHER EXACTLY THE SAME AS IT. EVEN WITH 25K IN HIS POCKET HE WILL FIND IT HARD TO REPLACE.
