when do you think the best time to list something is?

so it finishes thru the day whilst everyone is at work, or on an even when every1 is home

i always tend to list things so they finish in the day whilst people are at work n have access to the net

yup, so it finishes sunday evening. Apparantely people are a bit depressed cos they have to go to work monday morning, so they buy something off ebay to cheer themselves up

 

...or the fact that TV is shite so they go on their comp LOL

yeah thats what i always thought, everyone bored at work, using there work PC during the day to pass time

It is a fact that items ending on a Sunday evening can sell for up to 50% more than items ending at any other time. This is from personal experience and is also borne out by statistics on selling prices over a 12 month period.

The only time to avoid a Sunday is when Ebay runs a cheap listing day, then everyone and his dog lists items and the selling prices tend to dip.

So the best time to list is on a Thursday evening to finish in 10 days time on a Sunday evening, it gives your item the maximum time exposure and should also get a premium price. Conversly never buy on a Sunday

 

I would say opt for the work hours thing.
