Any idea.. Should I just ignore it.. Or should I go to the hospital


Its sore if it gets rubbed and it looks swollen


It came over night last night.. woke up this morning with a pain

I got one when I was younger, was hormones or something. Id get to the hospital to get checked out, just to make sure its nothing serious.

Goes without saying you should go to your docs but it sounds like it could be a spot or infection of some sort. Is it right where the piercing used to go in?

 

if its directly where you used to have it pierced it could be scar tissue, ass a mate has the same and it looks well daft

get it checked out anyway though, he did. men can still get breast cancer

 

yeah, its where the scar is, but the scar is tiny!

Needs to be checked soonest, could be start of abcess or cyst, not nice, just watch for the skin ballooning around it and going red and white stripes as this is very bad news, and leads to blood poisening if not treated.

When I took the ring out of my nipple it went a little lumpy but think its just the dead skin where the hole used to be?? Could be that?

give it a few days to see if it goes down, it migth be nothing and go on its own. If it hasn't gone down at all in next few days then consult your dr

Well it turns out...


The day after the 'lump' appeared on my nipple, I had been in a 'hot tub' with a few mates getting beer'd up

My mate Justin, That also used to have his nipple pierced.. ALSO had the same symptoms

Same lump, Same side of his piercing, Same pains and its now gone.. the same as mine..

So we're thinking it was something in the water thats affected us, Even though the water was from the Kitchen, We used a hose to fill it up from the Kitchen sink


Odd.. But either way, Its gone now...
