can someone send me a font for number plates so i can fiddle and make my own design. i cant find a font to match it anywhere

im looking for the new style letter and the old style, can someone tell me the names of them or where to get them or send them to my email

maybe even a number plate design software so i can make design and send it to a plate maker to create for me

No one will give you them, you have to buy them!
Plenty of sites that sell the font if you Google for it.

If you just want to mess about with designs, use something like this:

Once you have the correct letters, do s screen grab, load it in to paintshop etc and chop it about

 

As above I had to pay for the font so aint giving it away for nothing!!!

I'm happy to do you a proof etc but not like 2000 of them and not buy a pair!!! (had it in the passed! )

lol, as and when matey, me numberplate machine is out of action for the next few days (dodgy batch of stock!) so can't do a lot!!!

www.dafont.com i believe has loads of fonts... not specifically numberplate ones! but fonts none the less!

you need to DL them, then extract them, then move the font file into the "fonts" folder in your controlpanel!

if anyone has the old style lettering as used before sept 2001 i will pay for it

also a copy of any specific number plate desgning software

 

With the software you will find that most need activation codes / dongles so cracked software is pretty much impossible. I got the software when I bought the machine etc (after becoming registered with DVLA) so you may be out of luck. What is it you are trying to achieve? I may be able to help....

im just after playing about with different sizes, photoshopping different sizes onto my car, with different fonts, when im finally done and decided ill send someone the design and exact size im after with exact design, so i dont have to order plates more than once (again), ive already ordered 2 sets, both companies didnt give me what i asked for and wont accept refunds, so i dont want to risk losing another Ł20+ postage

its just a really simple style of plate that i want, but the sizing and lettering is really important because it has to be 100% perfect

With 2nd class post its about Ł12 a set

 

im pretty sure dingbro does standard ones for Ł3 each

 

can you still get plates made up with things like RS logo down the side etc?

Ł3 each is a pretty good price but imagine thats to trade / dealerships / friends!!

nah no site where you can design them although my normal website will be going live this week with some examples on!! I get enough work without the on line designer so would probably go insane if I advertised even more
