Where the metal pipe goes into the "ring", through which the BANJO bolt passes is leaking, on the coolant feed pipe, I have tonight seen one other that has come out completely on a 4wd, how common are problems here has anyone else had this ?
I am thinking of using flexi pipe when I find some suitable or some other means as this is just silly.

i had this bought a new pipe from woodford in the end for £20 quid, but had exact same problem

 

What did you do in the end, I am thinking of TIGGING it.

you can get it brazed repaired,

or above, just buy a new/used item.


i guess your's has split the brazeing?

 

brazing goes, i just bought a new one for the £20 they cost

 

i hzd this and bought a new one - problem solved.

Been there done it got three spare just incase
And so have my mate well two off them

 

just fit aeroquip banjo fittings.

 

Decided to flexy pipe it, even if it means machining fittings up myself, as I worry about things like this, doing return as well, just to be safe.
