If so what they like? Want to buy a big motor once the Golf sells and didnt really how cheap these things are..... Other car in mind was an ST200 but the Honda seems quite desirable with some nice extras as standard!

Not bad, not really a Type-R, the salemen at Honda when I worked for em used to slag em something rotton, but they not bad if you just want a quick cruiser and not something hardocre.

Certainly quicker than hot hatches like Saxo VTS's etc etc on straights as well as your average A-B road, but no Type-R type weapon.

stay away from the st200. Driven a few, and they are over rated and slow in my opinon. Also they DRINK fuel.

ATR's are awesome, watch a few vids of them on youtube. Top car for the money

I had one as a company car back in 2000 (w reg) for 12 months. As a fast road car it was 100% better than the vectra gsi i had before it (not hard really..)

They are quite hard work if your just in the mood for pottering along, but if your in the mood you can wind 'em up something rotten !

I had one in pirates black (the very dark purple colour) and it looked mint. The downside was every twat in a corsa/saxo etc wanted to race you all the while.

Plus it did like a drop to drink, but as i had a fuel card i didnt give a fook! But it was averaging about 22mpg.. But i used to cane it everywhere.

But i'd buy one again if i was in the market for one. Nothing ever broke or fell off it, and the dealers seemed ok as well.

Buy one and enjoy it - they make the ST200 seem SLOW !

So it looks like its gotta beone of these over the Mondy then!!! Read the top gear test (Accord vs ST200) and it won hands down!!

indycos - comes as standard mate so not a lot I can do, dont want to be left with holes and no interest in getting it painted!!

Thats what I thought! The HID's on my old S2000 and DC5 Integra were awesome! I've heard on the Accords the auto tilt is temporamental but its just a case of replacing the sensor!!

I'm liking that purple but fedup with dark cars so may go for a Red one or perhaps silver.

Im tempted at one myself but most cars ive seen for sale got loads of miles in them. Are the engines very expensive to rebuild?

I know this but the beam range seemed to be set very low. full beam was like driving with the dips on. and my local honda garage said they are self adjusting so nothing i could do. maybe if i had checked the sensor like other user said it might have changed.

good car though. going to look at another in red at weekend. last on i had was silver and it was in great condition bodywise

my partner has worked for honda for about 9 years and gets a new car at least every 6 months and every car straight from the factory does seem to have very low set beams

easily changed on non HID, but don't know about the HID ones. i presume that that have a mechanical base setting that the sensor then modifies depending on load?
