Default Clutch quadrant (ratchit) on RS turbo?

I have recently bought a escort cabby 1990 with RS turbo transplant and the gears feel shit so decided to change clutch quadrant, had a look under the pedal box and it was white so went to local ford dealer and purchased another.
nothing wrong with the old one but have put a post about it on Escort RS turbo page on here and it was mentioned that is the wrong one as its to small. what oloure is the ones on RS turbos as this one could be from the cabby shell it was all put into about 3 month ago (when gear change problem started)

the quadrants are different sizes ,this alters the ratio that the cable pulls at,ie easier to push or harder to push.if you have clearance and the bite point is correct, then your problem is more likely to be a worn gear lever or incorrect set up of the gear box rod.or worn gearbox.

if they are anything like the seirra, there were 4 colours
yellow, red, white and black, all with various radii on the actual bit the cable hooked into
these also vary depending on which clutch you have fitted (low lift/high lift) so it's worth getting people to have a look at the colour of the quadrant before forking out the money to buy one, even thoguh they are only around £9 each, it's a massive job to change them

I can't remember what website it is (AP Racing perhaps) but you can remove the quadrant completely and have a manually adjustable one! I think it was something to do with fitting a mk5 clutch pedal which is very simple to do. I've done this on my xr2 turbo and it works really well, plus you get a lot more feel from the pedal.
