What do you remember doing as a kid which really REALLY excited you?

yesterday me and the kids made a tent in Josh's room, they spent nearly all day in it, and both slept on the floor in it last night it didnt even fall down like mine used to, cos we pegged it to everything possible





wish i could make an adult sized tent from duvet covers, me and my brother used to do it when we were kids and thought it was the coolest thing ever

 

I remember doing that, used to be so much better than sleeping in a bed

 

lighting things on fire excited me, thankfully i grew out of it

 

My worst one was getting in and out of my dads Austin Maestro through the windows in a Dukes Of Hazard styley


The think was though i was nearly 20

 

when i was growing up we tended to do things with matches and petrol. maybe thats just the council estate way

 

Does 15 still count as a kid?

If so, me & 2 mates once spent ages 1 sturday afternoon not long ago trashing the fuk out of an abandoned mental hospital, it was class!!

But we got busted by security the nxt day tho

But like a few a few of us use to like having fires.

i remember making harneses out of strings and climbing up into the tree house at the local park... then absailing down kinda... if it had broken, we would have probably killed ourselves... then there wsa the "fire drills" when someone randomly shouted fire drills, you would have to climb over the side, then hang over the edge... and then shift round the corner then drop down...

 

on the walk home from school as a kid if we ever see a copper we'd just shout leg it and run to get a chase.... that was always a good giggle!!!

throwing sticks up trees to get conkers
selling logs simply for money
penny for the guy 4 weeks or something before guy faukes
running through peoples gardens,hedges doing the grand national
this is just a few oh how i wish i was a kid again

 

Making gunge out of everything I could find in the kitchen

Going in dads old cossie

Getting really fucking dirty on my bike with some mates

Making fires.. and still love making big fires

Mad pies

and ofcourse making a BASE in the local tree's

 

We used to make little 'base' from the big square cushions that made up our sofa's.. i'd then get my brother to go inside then bundle them
