Default Ariel on wrong side, what do i do?? Going for paint! HELP

My ariel for my 3 door appears to be on the other side to all the others out there. I have also looking into xr4i sheels incase it was a re shell but the are on the off side too same as the cosworth.

My car is HPi clear has no wealding and no sign of being tampered with.

I'm hoping it was a run done at the factory and then changed for some reason.

I'm having a full paint and thinking of changing it back to normal but would like to find out the reason behind it being on the nearside first. Just incase its a bit special Surpris Très content

Any help would be great.

I had a xr4i that came from Jersey, it had NO aerial at all on the rear but did have one in the centre of the roof in front of the sunroof.
It had been like this since new, all parts were ford, an there were no filled holes in the rear 1/4's.
