My lad has been out all day with his mates collecting conkers, and has just come home with THE biggest bag full of conkers God knows how he carried it here

Who else remembers conker picking as a kid, it was quality

Then you got to school and one of your mates would have a "87er" which you would procude to smash apart with your "1er", making yours an "88er"

Then the rumours would start--

"He put it in vinegar and baked it in the over for 2 days first"

Those were the days...not a care in the world

yeah man I used to collect them at ma grans was tops, I got over 500 one year and I wouldn't throw em out amnd they went all blue and mouldy god I feel old for some reason evan tho I'm 18
